The Minus Cloud Nine (MCN) team at The Creative Hub are passionate about the power of creativity to bring people together, so come and join us for this relaxing Beginner's Punch Needle Workshop in Brentwood.

Taught in small groups of up to eight, this workshop is the perfect introduction to the wonderfully mindful craft of punch needle embroidery. Whether you've never picked up a punch needle before or you're looking to try a new creative hobby, we'll guide you through every step of the process in a friendly, relaxed environment.

Using colourful yarns and simple techniques, you'll create your own textured design while learning the foundations of this increasingly popular craft.

By the end of the workshop, you will have:

• Created your own unique punch needle artwork, ready to display or frame at home.

• Learned the basics of setting up a punch needle frame, threading your tool, and creating different stitches and textures.

• Explored colour, texture and pattern to create a design that reflects your own style.

• Gained the confidence and skills to continue your punch needle journey at home.

The class includes expert instruction and guidance from our experienced team, alongside all the materials and equipment needed throughout the session.

As with many of our workshops, we encourage creativity without pressure. Punch needle is a wonderfully calming craft that invites you to slow down, switch off from everyday life and enjoy the simple process of making something with your hands.

No artistic experience is needed - just come along and enjoy trying something new.
