In our beginners Kintsugi workshop at The Creative Hub Brentwood, participants will be introduced to the ancient Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. This hands on session will guide you through the process of mending broken ceramics with gold, enough knowledge to continue at home.

This workshop emphasises the philosophy of embracing imperfections and finding beauty in repair, drawing parallels to personal resilience and growth. (Something we are very passionaite about in our hub!)

Attendees will learn basic Kintsugi techniques, gain insight into their cultural significance of the art, and have their own opportunity to take home their own specific piece.

The pottery we use in the hub are sourced from families who use a small kiln in their homes in Japan.

All materials are provided, no prior experience necessary, we would love you to join us.
